Tranquility Grove was established in 2018 by a husband-and-wife team. What began as a small scale, part-time side-hustle quickly grew into a full-time career. Still just a husband-and-wife team, Tranquility Grove now services multiple properties every week.

Diane VanderPloeg
Business Manager / Administrative Director
Diane is the owner and business manager of Tranquility Grove. Her hardworking and positive attitude help make the daily operations a success.Â
Diane is known for her love of the outdoors, gardening, and landscaping; as well as her extensive experience in office and administrative management. She has many years of office experience and brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. Â She is a caring and devoted mother of two beautiful children and an extremely hard working professional. Her positive can-do attitude and her caring personality make her an essential member of the company. Diane is also on a journey to receiving her black belt in Taekwondo, showing once again her value of hard work ethic and her steadfast determination and strength.
Thomas VanderPloeg
Client Services /Â Business Development
Thomas is a hardworking professional with a passion for lawn care, landscape design, and landscape maintenance. Thomas is a life-long student who is always learning. Thomas has studied landscape design, landscape management, turf management, and has earned degrees in psychology and organizational leadership.
Thomas began mowing lawns as a youth with his grandpa, who at the time was responsible for maintaining summer homes on Lake Macatawa in Holland. Thomas continued his passion for lawn care by mowing neighborhood lawns for extra cash.
As a teen he continued his love of landscaping and lawn care.
As a young adult, Thomas had the opportunity to gain valuable experience by working for a professional landscaping business. Thomas has also gained valuable experience working for a professional lawn care company prior to beginning his career at Tranquility Grove.
